What are Fan Clubs?
Fan Clubs are mailing groups that Zack can join to obtain personal information about Shinra’s SOLDIER 1st Class members (Angeal, Genesis, Sephiroth, and even Zack himself). These do not serve any purpose other than for unlocking the Fan Club Aficionado and Fan Club Savior (Bronze trophies) achievements.
Once you have unlocked Fan Clubs in Chapter 2, try to join all of them until you are able to merge them during Chapter 7. Progressing through Chapter 8 without doing both may cause you to permanently miss out on the Fan Club Aficionado and Fan Club Savior achievements for the duration of the playthrough.

All SOLDIER 1st Class Fan Clubs
Below is a list of all SOLDIER 1st Class Fan Clubs and how to join them during the game’s main story.
Red Leather (Genesis Fan Club 1)
Red Leather is one of the Fan Clubs dedicated to Genesis. To join, progress to Chapter 2. After the scene at the SOLDIER Briefing Room, head to Fountain Plaza at Sector 8 and talk to the Genesis Fan next to the Angeal Fan.
To merge Red Leather with the other Fan Clubs, progress to Chapter 7 and talk to the Genesis Fan at Fountain Plaza of Sector 8.
Loveless Study Group (Genesis Fan Club 2)
Loveless Study Group is one of the Fan Clubs dedicated to Genesis. To join, progress to Chapter 2. Then, head to Loveless Avenue by going north from Fountain Plaza to find the Genesis Fan by the alley. Talk to her to join the Loveless Study Group.
To merge the Loveless Study Group with the other Fan Clubs, progress to Chapter 7 and talk to the Red Leather member at Sector 8 – Fountain Plaza. Then, talk to the Loveless Study Group member at Loveless Avenue. Finally, talk to the Red Leather member again.
Keepers of Honor (Angeal Fan Club)
Keepers of Honor is a Fan Club dedicated to Angeal. To join, progress to Chapter 2 with the Red Leather Fan club and talk to the Angeal Fan next to the Genesis Fan at Sector 8’s Fountain Plaza next.
To merge Keepers of Honor with the other Fan Clubs, progress to Chapter 7 and talk to the child looking for his mother at Sector 8 – Fountain Plaza. Then, look for the child’s mother at the train station in Sector 1 and talk to her. Select the second dialogue option to make her return to her child. Then, head back to Fountain Plaza at Sector 8 and talk to the mother to convince her to merge with the other clubs.
Silver Elite (Sephiroth Fan Club)
Silver Elite, the exclusive Fan Club dedicated to Sephiroth, can only be joined in Chapter 5. Head to the park at Sector 6 Slums and talk to the Sephiroth Fan. You will need to take a test to prove you are worthy of becoming a member.

Zack Fan Club
A Fan Club dedicated to Zack may be founded in Chapter 6 by defeating 30 enemies during the siege on the Junon Perimeter (after taking down the General’s Tank). Afterwards, ride the car to the upper Junon platform. When you meet up with Cissnei, she will tell you that you have gotten fans.
To join Zack’s Fan Club, progress to Chapter 7 and talk to the receptionist at Shinra HQ.
