  1. “Use your accumulated Magic Mako Stones to fuse the Materia Libra +1, Libra +2, and Libra +21. Then, farm Magic Mako Stones again and fuse Libra +21 and Libra +1 to get Libra +40.”

I don’t understand how to do this. I know how to fuse and I have the ability to add items to the fusion.

    • This guide doesn’t mention that Libra comes with ATK, so you can’t use MAG stones with it right out of the box.

Using other materia that already have MAG like Fire, Blizzard, and Thunder where possible will help. Otherwise, you can use Libra + Libra + Dark Matter to create a Libra (MAG +2). Keep in mind that Dark Matter are difficult to find until very late game, then they become pretty trivial to farm.

All that aside, the idea is that you fuse these Libras with MAG Mako Stones to get them up to MAG +40, the max that Mako Stones can give.

      Libra (MAG +2) + Libra + MAG Mako Stone x99 = Libra (MAG + 21)
      Libra (MAG +21) + Libra + MAG Mako Stone x99 = Libra (MAG + 40)
      Libra (MAG +40) + Libra (MAG +40) = Libra (MAG +60)
      Libra (MAG +60) + Libra (MAG +40) = Libra (MAG +80)

Also not sure why the guide stops at +80. I’m assuming they want your materia to be MAG +40:
      Libra (MAG +80) + (MAG +40) = (MAG +100)

But you could also do this:
      Libra (MAG +80) + Libra (MAG +40) = Libra (MAG +100)
      Libra (MAG +100) + = (MAG +100)
