AP and SP (Stamina Guide) for Echoes of Mana

AP and SP are two types of stamina needed to do various activities in Echoes of Mana, including basic mechanics of AP and SP consumption, how to recover stamina, and other useful tips.

Adventures Points (AP)

Adventure Points or AP is the resource used to undertake the game’s main story, event, and tower quests. You current AP is indicated by the yellow lightning icon on the upper section of the screen. Before you begin a quest that involves combat, you will be taken to the party preparation menu. From here, look at the lower right corner of the screen to view the AP spent to undertake the quest.

Special Points (SP)

Special Points (SP), meanwhile, is required to run material and gear training dungeons which allow you to obtain useful enhancement materials and equipment. Your current SP is indicated by the blue lightning icon on the upper section of the screen, just below your available AP.

How to Recover AP and SP

Using consumable items (AP and SP Fillers)

You can recover AP and SP by using AP and SP Fillers which you can obtain as rewards from quests or from completing Regular and Bingo missions. The amount of AP or SP recovered by these items depends on their potency, which can be small (S) or large (L).

Using Spirit Crystals

It is also possible to replenish your AP and SP using Spirit Crystals. This method, however, is not recommended as it is generally better to save crystals for harvesting new characters and Memory Gems from the gacha. Note that you can only use Spirit Crystals to recover stamina up to 10 times a day.

How to Farm Spirit Crystals

Waiting it out.

You automatically regain 1 point of AP and SP every 5 minutes. Once you run out of stamina running various quests and training dungeons, try to take a break or do other activities until your AP and SP is replenished.

Failing quests or dying in dungeons will still expend stamina.

Your AP and SP will not be refunded if you fail a quest or die in training dungeons. Because of this, make sure that your party is well-equipped and ready before starting the quest or dungeon run to avoid wasting stamina in the game.
