Dialga and Palkia are each encountered during the main story of Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl (Pokemon BDSP). Progress through the game until you are able to reach the Spear Pillar in Mt. Coronet to get a chance at catching either Dialga (Brilliant Diamond) and Palkia (Shining Pearl).

How to Catch Multiple Dialga and Palkia

Note that there is an exploit in the game which will allow you to catch an infinite number of Dialgas or Palkias. To do this glitch, you must defeat either Dialga or Palkia when you first encounter them in the Spear Pillar. Afterwards, the Legendary Pokemon will reappear in the same area when you return once you have beaten the game.

Ramanas Park Legendaries

Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl - Other Legendary Pokemon

Various Legendary Pokemon can also be caught in Ramanas Park once you have cleared the main story. To make them appear, you must acquire Legendary Slates which can be obtained by trading Mysterious Fragments found in the Grand Underground.

How to Get Mysterious Fragments

After getting a Legendary Slate, you need to place it on a pedestal in one of the different rooms of Ramanas Park to summon a Legendary Pokemon which will allow you to catch them.

How to Get All Legendary Slates

As with Dialga and Palkia, some Legendary Pokemon can only be encountered in one version of the game. Below is a list of all Legendary Pokemon you can summon Ramanas Park and the required Legendary Slates to do so.

Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl - How to Get Mew

You can obtain Mew and Jirachi in the game by talking to the madame and gentleman NPC found at the flower field on the southwest end of Floarama Town. To get Mew, you must have a save file of Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee! or Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! on your Nintendo Switch. Jirachi, meanwhile, is obtained if you have save data of Pokemon Sword or Pokemon Shield.
