How to Get All Legendary Slates in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

What are Legendary Slates?

Legendary Slates are key items that you can obtain after clearing the game. Once you are inducted into the Pokemon League’s Hall of Fame, you will be able to access a new area in Sinnoh Region called Ramanas Park where several Legendary Pokemon will appear.

How to Unlock Ramanas Park

Upon obtaining a Legendary Slate, you can visit Ramanas Park and insert them into the pedestal of one of several rooms found in the location. Doing so will summon a Legendary Pokemon from across the series’ different generations, allowing you to catch them.

Slates resemble game cartridges of various Nintendo portable game consoles such as the Game Boy (GB), Game Boy Color (GBC), and Game Boy Advance (GBA).

It seems that the type of Pokemon summoned by a slate determines the shape of the slate. The Genome Slate, for instance, which summons Mewtwo in the Genome Room of Ramanas Park, takes the form of a GB cartridge, likely because Mewtwo first appeared in Pokemon Blue and Red on the GB.

Note that some Legendary Pokemon can only be obtained in either Pokemon Brilliant Diamond or Pokemon Shining Pearl.
