How to Get Fossils in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
What are Fossils?
Fossils are key items that are essentially remains of Pokemon in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl (Pokemon BDSP). These can be given to the man in the Oreburgh City Mining Museum to obtain ancient Pokemon after reviving them using the fossils.
Where to Get Fossils
Grand Underground
Fossils are obtained by digging in the Grand Underground once you have obtained the Explorer Kit from the old man in Eterna City. Look for shiny spots on the map while exploring the underground which indicate items that you can unearth.
How to Revive Fossils
After obtaining a Fossil, head to Mining Museum in Oreburgh City. Talk to the man in front of the desk and turn in the Fossil you found to revive it as a Pokemon. Then, leave the museum. When you come back, talk to the man to get the revived Pokemon.
