Game Overview

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury is an action-platform game set in the Super Mario Brothers universe. It is an enhanced port of the original Nintendo Wii U title released in 2013 and features improved gameplay, including the faster character movement speed and dash power-up rate.

Snap Shot Mode

The new Snapshot mode has also been added to the game that allows players to take pictures and add filters and stamps. Photos can then be saved in your Nintendo Switch Album.

Watch out for stamps found all throughout the various worlds to add them to your collection.

Bowser’s Fury

Bowser’s Fury is a new adventure that takes Mario to Lake Lapcat where Bowser Jr. asks for his help to bring a rampaging Bowser back to his old self. The unlikely partners must across the lake’s cat-themed islands and clear the spreading darkness by searching for Cat Shines and restore the lighthouses. Mario and Bowser Jr will encounter numerous obstacles, puzzles, enemies, and even the enraged Bowser himself on their quest.

Two-player Co-op

Bowser’s Fury can be played with up to two players, with one controlling Mario and the other Bowser Jr. The son of Bowser can assist Mario by defeating enemies and storing power-ups that can used later during difficult situations.

Bowser Jr.’s Junior Clown Car also grants him impressive mobility, allowing him to go to hard-to-reach places to find hidden areas and secrets.

Giga Bell

To match the Bowser’s newly-acquired strength and size, Mario can transform into Giga Cat Mario by using the Giga Bell. Players can then fight on equal ground with the gigantic Koopa leader in a melee of epic proportions.
