Motley Bossblob is the second boss encountered in World Bowser during the main story campaign of Super Mario 3D World. He is a joker with red and blue colored eyes, a big pink mouth with fangs drooping on each side, golden bangles, and a robe that matches with his hat.

Motley Bossblob’s Big Battle

When Motley starts jumping, he’ll attempt to crush you with many attempts. Keep avoiding the attacks. On his last jump, you’ll notice that he’ll scatter into many blobs. Use this opportunity to get your attacks in. Check for signs when he’s prone to attacks. You can tell when he’s open for an attack whenever he’s running away. Another way to deal with Motley is to stomp on the blobs, when hitting the blobs, Motley shrinks in size. Splitting boss causes him to drop Double Cherries. After being hit three times, the boss faints.

Rematch

Motley Bossblob returns in World Bowser and World 12. The boss now gains the power to send shockwaves flying when he attempts to the crush the player.
