Risky Whisker Island Cat Shines
Fury Shadow Hops to It
After passing through the arch to Risky Whisker Island (in front of the lighthouse), Fury Shadow Luigi will appear on the floating tube-like platforms. It is recommended to have the Boomerang or Fire Flower power-ups to attack him from a distance since it is hard to chase him because of the terrain. You can also have Bowser Jr. attack him instead by chasing him around. Fury Shadow will drop the Cat Shine after he is hit three times.
Five Cat Shine Shards
All five Cat Shine Shards are found on the floating tube-like platforms where Fury Shadow Luigi appears. Simply go around the area in a clockwise motion to get them while being careful not to fall to the ground below.
Blast the Fury Blocks
When Fury Bowser appears, head to the fury blocks just in front of the lighthouse on the lower area. Stand behind the blocks and wait for Bowser to use his flame breath to destroy them. Get the Cat Shine afterwards.
Feasting on Fuzzies
This objective appears on the floating tube-like platforms again. Grab the Piranha Plant and have it eat the Fuzzies running around the area. As with the Cat Shine Shards, it is recommended to take a clockwise route to clear it. The Cat Shine will appear near the arch afterwards.
Hurry! Hop Behind the Wall!
The purple button appears on the floating tube-like platforms again. You must reach the Cat Shine behind the brick wall at the far right end of the path while avoiding the silver balls and Cat Magikoopas’ attacks. When you near the Cat Shine, use one of the balls in the area and kick it to destroy the wall.
