All Cat Shine Shard Locations
What are Cat Shine Shards?
Cat Shine Shards are hidden collectibles that are found throughout Lake Lapcat during the main story of Bowser’s Fury. There are 5 Cat Shine Shards on each of the 12 islands of the lake. A Cat Shine is obtained for finding all of them on an island, getting you a step closer to clearing the stage.
Scamper Shores Cat Shine Shards

| 1 | At the start of the level, grab a Super Bell from the mystery box between the two Conkdors ahead. Move right and up the ramp to find a turning fence that you can grab on to. Climb up and jump to an opening on your left to find the Cat Shine Shard. |
| 2 | From the first shard’s location, jump back down and move forward to find another rotating fence near some boxes. Jump up to the fence to find the second Cat Shine Shard in the air. |
| 3 | From the third shard’s location, move forward up the platform and turn left to find some boxes covering a small lower section near the water that has the third Cat Shine Shard. |
| 4 | From the lighthouse, turn to the three fences lined up that descend downward. Climb up the first one and over it to grab the fourth Cat Shine Shard. |
| 5 | Just below the three fences (underneath the lighthouse) is the fifth Cat Shine Shard behind a rotating fence. Grab on to it until it turns to get the shard. |

| 1 | While facing the lighthouse, turn around to find the first Cat Shine Shard at the far end of the narrow path. |
| 2 | Drop down to your right to go down the area below near Plessie. Walk a little to your right and use the red springboard platform to go up the upper area. The Cat Shine Shard should be to your right near the balcony. |
| 3 | Climb up the wall on your left while in cat form to find another Cat Shine Shard. |
| 4 | Drop down and go up the moving springboard platforms ahead until you reach the ramp that drops down to some boxes you destroyed earlier. This time, instead of going left, jump up the ledge ahead of you (a bird is usually perched here) to reach the area behind the wall and a springboard platform just ahead. Use it to grab the Cat Shine Shard in the air. |
| 5 | Head to the forward to the area with multiple moving springboard platforms from before and make your way up again to the section with the springboard that moves horizontally (just before the ramp that leads to the lighthouse again). Instead of moving forward, turn to your right to find the last Cat Shine Shard in the air. |

Fort Flaptrap Cat Shine Shards

| 1 | Drop down from the Cat Bully area and move to the left wall. You should see two breakable blocks spread apart. Attack one closest to you and it should reveal a secret area and the Cat Shine Shard. |
| 2 | Continue going around the base of the Cat Bully area and you should see another Cat Shine Shard up a tree. |
| 3 | Go around the base of the area again to find another one near two trees. |
| 4 | As you come to the front of the Cat Bully area, you will find another Cat Shine Shard to your right just above a switching red/blue platform. |
| 5 | Finally, go up the Cat Bull area again and go behind the lighthouse to find the last Cat Shine Shard. |

Fur Step Island Cat Shine Shards

| 1 | The first Cat Shine Shard is found on the lower area with the Goomba below the wooden bridge (to your right near the ship’s bowsprit). |
| 2 | The second Cat Shine Shard is found below the ship’s bowsprit. Walk forward and carefully drop down to the part resembling Bowser’s face below to get the shard. |
| 3 | The third Cat Shine Shard is found at the top of the collapsed ship mast. |
| 4 | The fourth is found on the ship’s keel submerged in the water on its right side. |
| 5 | The fifth Cat Shine Shard can be found in the forest near the starting level. From the wrecked ship, head back and run to the left as you go through the forest. Climb up the stone wall where there seems to be a formation of cat-ear shapes to find the Cat Shine Shard above. |

| 1 | The first shard is found in front of the first skate car power-up in the upper bridge area that leads to the lighthouse. |
| 2 | The second shard is found in the air just before the first spiked tunnel. Use the skate car power-up and launch yourself off the ramp and do a jump to get it. |
| 3 | The third shard is inside the first spiked tunnel and is hard to miss. |
| 4 | The fourth shard is at the top of the second spiked tunnel. Make a jump over the gap so you end up on top of the tunnel. |
| 5 | The last shard is found in the air as you launch from the ramp just before the lighthouse. Be sure to jump at the right moment to grab it. |

Clawswipe Colosseum Cat Shine Shards

| 1 | The first shard is found on the lower right corner of Cat Boom Boom’s boss area by the barred window. |
| 2 | The second shard is found at the base of the platform (north side) of the boss area in the water. |
| 3 | The third is found at the top of the colosseum. Use the cat ramp on your right to climb up. When you reach the top, start moving clockwise until you come up to a launching pole. Use it to grab the Cat Shine in the air at the center of the colosseum. |

| 5 | After getting the fourth shard, drop down to the small section of land below to find the fifth one near the barred window. |

Crisp Climb Castle Cat Shine Shards
| No. | How to Get |

| 1 | The fist shard is in the air above the first rotating platform tower. You need the Propeller Box to be able to get high enough to get it. |
| 2 | The second shard is behind a narrow opening in the second rotating platform tower. When you come on one of the platforms, fly to the right (or the opposite direction where the platforms are rotating) to get the shard. |
| 3 | Continue going up the second rotating platform tower until you reach the top area with an arrow pointing to the right. Instead of going right, move up to your left to find a hidden area and the third shard. |
| 4 | Follow the regular path again along the windmill-like rotating platforms. Instead of going up to the wooden ledge above, go straight towards the end of the second windmill platform to find the next shard ahead. You will likely fall all the way to the ground doing this. |
| 5 | Before going back up, be sure to have a Propeller Box with you. Go back up to the first set of windmill-like platforms and take the regular path this time by going up the wooden ledge. Continue working your way around the tower until you come up to the windmill rotating in the opposite direction. Fly to the gap in the center of the windmill to get the last shard. |

Trickity Tower Cat Shine Shards
| No. | How to Get |

| 1 | Make sure you have the Super Bell power-up as you will need the cat form to get all the shards in the area. After passing through the arch in Trickity Tower, move up the stairs and along the platform towards the circular part. Just behind it is the first Cat Shine Shard. |
| 2 | Jump back up and continue past the circular platform to reveal an invisible path (you can momentarily reveal it from a stationary position by doing a ground pound). Watch out for the enemy rolling down spiked logs on your left and follow it up. Take out the enemy and grab the second Cat Shine Shard above. |
| 3 | Afterwards, you should see another enemy in the distance rolling spiked logs to your left again. Run towards him while avoiding the logs and take him out. Face left toward the stack of boxes to reveal another invisible path and just beyond it is an invisible wall that you can climb in cat form to the third Cat Shine Shard just above. |
| 4 | From where you got the third shard, jump down on to the stack of boxes below and do a ground pound to land on another invisible path. Follow it as it turn to the left (just above the circular platform below from before) and you should reveal an invisible tower-like structure that you can climb up to to get the fourth shard on your left. |
| 5 | Jump back down close to the invisible tower form before and walk around the circular path to the right this time. You should make out the path to the last shard now. |

Risky Whisker Island Cat Shine Shards
All five Cat Shine Shards are found on the floating tube-like platforms where Fury Shadow Luigi appears at the start of the level. Simply go around the area in a clockwise motion to get them while being careful not to fall to the ground below.

Pipe Path Tower Cat Shine Shards

| 1 | The first shard is found in the second system of tubes in Pipe Path Tower. You need to exit through any of the tubes opening outward to the side and walk on the tube to get the first shard. |
| 2 | The second shard is found at the third system of tubes (the one that opens up from above and below). |
| 3 | The third shard is found at the fourth system of tubes (the one with the spiked balls). The shard is directly above the opening near the anterior section of the system. |
| 4 | Just past the lighthouse is another tube that you can take to grab the fourth shard. |
| 5 | From the front ledge of the lighthouse platform, jump down to the lower left section as close to the wall as possible to get the final shard above a single non-connected tube jutting out from the ground. |

Roiling Roller Isle Cat Shine Shards
| No. | How to Get |
|---|---|
| 1 | The first shard is found on the first blue rotating machine platform by moving to the middle section (where you can find a C-shaped part that comes down very close to the lava. You can choose to stand on the C-shaped part or simply jump down on to the shard to get it. Whatever method you use, you will end up on a white platform after grabbing the shard. Wait for the C-shaped part to come around again to get back on the blue rotating platform. |
| 2 | The second shard is also on this same platform. Walk up to the far end of the rotating platform near the edge and you should see the shard. An easy way to get it is to first cross to the static platform on your right and wait for shard to come around on the rotating platform to get it. Be sure to jump back on the static platform before the rotating platform turns all the way to lava. |
| 3 | The third shard is found by taking out the stacked Goombas on the static (flat) platform using the Bob-omb enemy’s bomb. |
| 4 | The fourth shard is found behind a brick wall in the center section of the second blue rotating platform (after the second green one). Pick up a bomb from a Bob-omb to break the wall and get the shard. |

Mount Magmeow Cat Shine Shards
| No. | How to Get |
|---|---|
| 1 | Be sure to have a Boomerang Flower before starting this run to get all Cat Shine Shards. From the starting point of Mount Magmeow, make your way up the stair-like platform until you come up to the second rotating flame fence. Look down on your right to find a green switchboard you can get on. Jump on it and step on any of the arrows to make it move. It will come round under the first rotating flame fence with the shard above. Jump up to grab it. |
| 2 | The second shard is impossible to miss. After passing the second rotating flame fence, get on the green switchboard just ahead. You should see it near the third flame fence that is floating in the air. |
| 3 | The third shard is near the Fire Koopa Troopa near the ledge by the lava. Take out the Koopa first. Afterwards, slide down by grabbing onto the wall to get the shard and wall jump your way back up before you fall to the lava. |
| 4 | When you get on the green switchboard that makes a turn around the mountain and past a multi-level flame fence, ride all the way straight to the right side toward a rock wall and immediately duck to get through it. Afterwards, jump up the the second rock wall behind it to grab the shard above. When you land back on the green switchboard, duck again to go back through the wall. |
| 5 | Ride all the way back until you come close to the green switchboard to your left in the background. Jump on it and and immediately jump again to the small platform with POW bricks. You will need to use the Boomerang Flower and attack the blocks with boomerangs to destroy them. |
