The Shiny Stone is a rare evolution stone in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl (Pokemon BDSP). Using the stone will evolve certain Pokemon, specifically Togetic and Roselia, into their final evolutionary stages.

Shiny Stones can be obtained through a number of ways which are detailed below.

Obtained Randomly by a Pokemon with the Pickup Ability

Any Pokemon with the Pickup Ability has a chance to obtain and hold onto various items (if the Pokemon is not holding an item) as you journey across the Sinnoh region. Below are all Pokemon with access to Pickup.

Any of these Pokemon has a chance to get a Shiny Stone throughout the game. Pachirisu, in particular, can be obtained fairly early on so try to catch it when you encounter it in the wild as soon as possible.

Found Route 228

A Shiny Stone can be found to the southeast of Route 228. The area is also where the Move Tutor and Cyrus’ grandfather can be found.

Found on Iron Island

Another Shiny Stone is found in the basement (B3F 1) on Iron Island.
