Battle System Guide

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim’s combat system is similar to a tower defense gameplay. The goal of the battle is to defend a base or terminal from large monsters called “Kaiijus”. The player will choose an area to defend and select six pilots that will form a mech team.  The formed team should consist of diverse types of sentinels in cases that different types of Kaijus will attack.

After you dispatch your formed team, event scenes will occur during battle. Once the battle begins, you will zoom-in to the terminal and monsters will start invading. Don’t let the terminal fall while fending off the Kaiju enemies since it will result to a failed mission.

While in battle, you can start picking weapons and command your pilots to target an enemy. Take note that there are different monster types as well such as ground types and flying types. Identify first the attack monster and match it with the right sentinel that can defeat it effectively.

The sentinel used to battle Kaijus will receive damage over time so make it a point to repair them. Also the sentinels or bases should be repair while the battle is in-progress. Repairing involves your pilot leaving the sentinel and thus making it vulnerable. Before you setup repairs, make sure to bring the sentinel to a safe location away from frontlines and the pathway of the attacking Kaijus.

After eliminating monsters and successfully defending the terminal, you will bonus points depending on your performance in the battle.
