If you’re aiming for the special conditions, your best bet is to form a balanced team which consists of all the sentinel types. Otherwise, you have more control over the team composition. If you opt to clear without special condition, you may even extend the number of melee combat or long distance types by one to have an easier type taking out the enemies.

Mission Strategy Guide

1 If you’re going to clear with the special condition in play, assign each pilot to each enemy territory.
2 That means, you need to have one sentinel for each direction on the map.
3 Melee combat types can choose to start with one of the following directions: north, east, or west.
4 Leave the south side to a sentinel that can ignore armor and have ways to take out aerial Kaiju.
