Before heading out, you should improve the following weapons: third generation types must enhance Missile Rain while fourth generation types must strengthen Flares and Multi-lock Missile, .

Mission Strategy Guide

1 The goal is to defeat the boss Hi-Quad EX. If you manage to take out the lesser enemies, Apsos EX will appear on the side corner.
2 The melee combat types can fend off Apsos EX using the weapon Demolish Blade. Have the universal types accompany them with the weapon Plasma Arc Fusing Machine.
3 When the coast is clear, approach the boss. Hi-Quad EX has Missile Rain at its disposal. The boss makes use of missile rain which appears as an area of effect. As a workaround, have your pilots use Multi-lock Missile.
4 The boss can also use Main gun railgun which shows up marked on the map before the attack comes out. Look for signs and then dodge it by having your units stay on the side.
