Upon reaching Chapter 2 of the main story, you will be able to join various Fan Clubs dedicated to Angeal, Genesis, Sephiroth, and even Zack himself by talking to a club member. Upon joining a club, you will receive mail containing interesting information on SOLDIER 1st Class operatives.

Progressing to Chapter 4 of the main story will unlock the Materia pick-up mini game at Sector 5 slums’ market area. Talk to the male Attendant at the market to start a mini game that requires you to collect 20 Materia scattered around a course before time runs out.

Perfume Blending Mini Game

The perfume blending mini game becomes accessible in Chapter 4 at the Sector 5 slums’ market area. To begin the mini game, talk to the female Attendant at Shopping Paradise. This sub-section requires you to mix a fragrance with the right amount of oil to create the perfect perfume for Aerith.

Once you reach Chapter 4, the number guessing mini game is unlocked at Sector 5 slums’ market area. Talk to the boy at the slums’ market to start a game that requires you to predict the number of children among the six people that will walk past Zack.

Find the Wutai Spies Sub-Event

The Find the Wutai Spies sub-event becomes available in Chapter 5. Talk to the soldier at Loveless Avenue to begin this side quest which requires you to find all six (6) Wutai Spies that have infiltrated Midgar.
Note that this event is the only way to obtain the Walnut Wood material used to build Aerith’s second Flower Wagon. This means that you will not be able to complete the Flower Wagon sub-event and obtain its related trophy if you do not find all Wutai Spies in Midgar.

Squats Mini Game

Once you reach Chapter 5, talk to the Shinra Researcher at the SOLDIER floor of Shinra HQ to start the squats mini game. This sub-event requires you to compete against various Shinra military personnel in doing squats, with the one doing the most repetitions within the time limit declared the winner.
The rewards obtained from the squats mini game are required to build Aerith’s third and final Flower Wagon. This means that you will not be able to complete the Flower Wagon sub-event and obtain its related trophy if you do not clear all squats mini game battles.

Flower Wagon Sub-Event

The Flower Wagon sub-event becomes available in Chapter 8 of the main story which requires you to build three (3) types of carts that Aerith can use to sell flowers. As mentioned in the previous sections, you can only clear the Flower Wagon sub-event by obtaining all rewards from the Wutai spies event and squats mini game. Otherwise, you will not be able to build Aerith’s second and third flower carts.

A Cascade of Treasure Mini Game Guide

Once you gain access to Gongaga in Chapter 9 of the main story, you will be able to begin A Cascade of Treasure mini game. Head to the mountain section behind Gongaga Village and battle enemies 7 times before heading for the exit to begin this mini game.
This mini game requires you to collect as many treasure chests as you can by the waterfall while avoiding the monsters that fall from above. The number of chests you pick up determines the rewards you can get at the end of the event.

Seven Wonders of Nibelheim Sub-Event

Reaching Nibelheim in Chapter 9 will unlock the Seven Wonders of Nibelheim sub-event which is a lengthy series of puzzles that allow you to earn various rewards. Note that this sub-event is the only way to obtain the Phoenix DMW Summon Materia and the Genji Armor accessory. Progressing through Chapter 9 without doing all Seven Wonders puzzles will lock out you of obtaining various trophies as well.
