Best Accessories Explanation

Genji Equipment + Ziedrich

All Genji equipment except the Genj Helm all provide incredible permanent buffs and effects to trivialize almost all late-game encounters. These synergize very well with the use of Costly Punch (Command Materia) to end most story encounters in seconds.

Instead of getting the Genji Helm (which simply grant Zack the ability to use Magic, Commands, and Abilities without spending MP and AP as well as the somewhat underwhelming Auto-Libra status), the Ziedrich is recommended as the latter applies massive stat bonuses.

Genji Armor is Permanently Missable in Chapter 9

Since the Genji Armor accessory can only be obtained by maxing out all DMW in the game (100% progress), it is essential that you pick up the Phoenix Materia inside the water tower in Nibelheim. Talk to the kid who hangs around at the town square to start the side quest to get the Materia.
