Overview

“The world of the old ones ended ages ago. The masters of the new world are the machines. A young woman seeks to uncover the secrets of the earth. But to get the answers, she has to leave her tribe behind.”

Horizon Zero Dawn is an action role-playing video game developed by Guerrilla Games for the Playstation 4. The game introduces Aloy, a hunter who is living in a world filled with malfunctioning robots. Aloy sets out on a journey to discover the dark secrets that instigated the machines to malfunction and act violently.

The game has an open world in which you can freely explore. Besides completing the main story missions, there will also be sidequests that Aloy can partake in to get extra skill points to upgrade her stats. The character utilizes different types of weapons such as bows, swords, and other equipment that she can use to eliminate the enemies. Horizon Zero Dawn releases on March 1, 2017.

  • Aloy – The main protagonist of Horizon Zero Dawn. Aloy is a hunter who wants to know more about the world she lives in.

Other Characters 

  • Rost – Aloy’s father-figure and fellow outcast. He chose to take care of Aloy when her tribe first found her.
  • Teersa – The Nora Tribe’s matriarch, along with Jeeza and Lansra. She is the motherly figure to Aloy, the only one who cares for her rnext to Rost.
  • Helis – The main antagonist, he leads the Shadow Carja and serves under HADES.

Collector’s Edition

The Collector’s Edition comes with the Steelbook Version of the game with DLC packs exclusive to this edition. The DLC pack include the Banuk Traveller Pack, Carja Trader Pack, Nora Keeper Pack, and the Nora Machine Trapper Pack. There is also an exclusive PS4 theme included for the Collector’s Edition.
