List of Sling Weapons [Horizon Zero Dawn]

Slings

The slow-firing sling lobs explosive bombs. Each has its own trigger mechanisms which deal high impact area damage. Because of its ability to lob ammo and loads, most would prefer using the slings behind rocks. When behind the rock, it’s easy to load and land a target. Most of the ammo are explosive which could deal intense damage to a certain area. Most of these weapons are modifiable.

However, some of these weapons cannot use certain ammo. Even if they do, the ammo will not use all its damage nor release the full potential of the weapon.

  1. I had the same problem until someone pointed out that you can adjust the range for the sling. On the PS4, you hold fire (L1) then adjust range by holding R2. Hope this helps.

  2. Is it just me or is the arc landing spot off the screen when using the blast or carja sling, making it useless to shoot accurately. You have to guess where the landing point is. It doesn’t seem to matter if I am on the ground or elevated on a cliff the same problem occurs. I can’t see the landing spot, it is below the bottom of my TV screen. I have tried to adjust my TV & the settings in the game but no solution. Does anyone else have this problem? Have you found a solution that works? Thanks for your help in this matter.
