Side Quest Walkthrough – A Moment’s Peace
After talking to Vilgund upon reaching Meridian, you can do the Side Quest A Moment’s Peace. Vilgund can be found to the west of the city.
Investigate the Banuk Camp
You’ll need to look for a Banuk Camp in this Side Quest, which is somewhere on the northeast of the map. As you approach the location of the camp, you’ll need to talk to the Banuk.
Search for Signal with your Focus / Talk to the Banuk
Talk to Siluk and Tikuk smack dab in the middle of the camp (marked by a big Thunderjaw carcass). From there, use Focus to find the source of the signals, which is along the northern mountains.
Search for a Path up the Mountain
Once you’ve caught the signal, you’ll need to go to where it’s coming from. Take the flight of stairs. As you come up to a ledge to your left, jump across and climb up. You’ll encounter some Glinthawks along the way. There will also be a campsite nearby. You can try to take out the Glinthawks or ignore and sneak past them if you want.
Investigate the Voices
After talking to Bajund and Menuf, proceed further and talk to Dorgeld and Garnud. Then, you’ll need to use Focus to examine the Unknown Artifact. Once you’ve done this, head back to the Banuk camp. Be prepared to engage some machines as you make your way down. The fight won’t be too hard as you’ll be assisted by some of the Banuk.
Afterwards, talk to Tikuk, then return to Meridian and see Vilgund. Vilgund will reward you with an Extraordinary Reward Box, as well as 3000 EXP.
