Side Quest Walkthrough – Fatal Inheritance
The Side Quest is initiated by talking to Ranaman in Meridian Village southeast of the main city.
Go to Ranaman’s Family Estate / Kill the Machines
Proceed towards the Quest Marker southeast of the village. As you near the estate, prepare to engage a Ravager and some Watchers in the area.
Investigate the Estate / Find the Source of the Shouting
After taking out the threats, head for big building with the main door unlocked (not the Workshop in the distance with the big closed door). Before going in, loot the corpse on the right to get the Workshop Key to open the Workshop later. Or you can also just sneak in by going to the back of the workshop and climbing up to the second floor.
Head inside the and check out the source of the shouting. You’ll come up to a locked room which you can pry open. Here, a cutscene with Daradi will ensue.
After talking to Daradi, head for the big building with the closed door. The Workshop Key should unlock it (or just sneak in from the back). From there, examine the device on the floor.
Return to Daradi
After examining the device, return to Daradi. A cutscene will ensue. Be ready to engage some Glinthawks afterwards.

After taking out the machines, talk to Daradi again in front of the main house. You will receive a Remarkable Reward Box and 3750 XP.
