Ammo/Ammunition
Ammo, short for ammunition, are specific depending on the weapon. Each weapon has its own kind of ammunition and effect. Some forms of arrows may work only with certain bows. For Slings, they use bombs. When using a Tripcaster, they use wires. Or when using Shotguns, they fire either bolts or ropes. Or if they can be placed on other bows, their damage will not be maximized. Before equipping ammo, make sure you know what that particular ammo does before using it.
Some forms of ammo may not work as well as it does on other creatures. For example, fire arrows work well on creatures that have Blaze Canisters. If one uses a fire arrow on the Blaze Canister, it can detonate the canister and deal large amounts of damage. Each ammo has its purpose. Harvest Arrows don’t do much damage. But, they do help you in farming. Tearblast Arrows do absolutely no damage. However, they do rip off the armor to make the enemy more vulnerable. In doing so, it allows you to deal more damage.
When fighting large enemies such as Thunderjaws or fast creatures such as Watchers and Glinthawks – choose your arrows wisely.
