Metal Flower
The Metal Flower is a collectible in the Horizon Zero Dawn game. Once you collect ten Metal Flowers of a certain set, you can buy a reward box. There’s a reward box you can buy from Kudiv in Meridian. The Flower Collectibles Specialty Merchant is in the northern Meridian. The three boxes he sells are from three different sets of Metal Flowers. When you find and collect the ten flowers, you can buy one reward box. For this guide, we’ll show you how to get the Metal Flower Mark 2’s.
Metal Flower Mark 2 Locations
- Mark 2 (A) – Unfortunately, this flower is probably one of the most heavily guarded ones throughout the game. When you’re looking for it, you’re going to have to deal with Glinthawks, Sawtooths, and Scrappers patrolling near it. However, instead of wasting resources, sprint and grab the flower before giving them a chance to have at you. It’s right at the center of the marker on the map.
- Mark 2 (B) – When looking for this flower, head south of the center of its marker. However, it has two Snapmaws guarding it. To bring it down, use a Tearblast Arrow to expose the Blaze Canister. Then, use the Fire Arrows. After looting them, walk over to the flower and claim your prize.
- Mark 2 (C) – You won’t have a hard time with this flower. If you’re looking for this flower, it’s to the west of the center of its marker. Run up the hill along the stream and thank your lucky stars. Nothing’s guarding it.
- Mark 2 (D) – Before you go after it, take note: there are several Glinthawks guarding the flower. It’s at the top of the mountain. If you want this flower, you can choose two ways. Snipe down the Glinthawks one by one or sprint and grabthe thing before they kill you. However, some people prefer doing the fast track way.
- Mark 2 (E) – Again, another heavily guarded flower. There are two Thunderjaws and some other machines near the flower. However, there’s a way to do this without wasting resources. Rather than deplete, crouch and sneak your way through. Then, get out of there. If you’re looking for it, it’s just the south of the center of the waypoint.
- Mark 2 (F) – Head for the the top of the mountain. It’s at the center of the marker and one of the more unguarded ones.
- Mark 2 (G) – When going after this flower, watch out. This flower’s up on a cliff. If you’re going to go after this flower, get past a few Glinthawks before reaching it. You can either run past them or snipe them down. When you’re done taking them down, head for the south of the center of the marker.
- Mark 2 (H) – Going after this metal flower, it’s in the southwest of the center of the market. Best part is – it’s not guarded.
- Mark 2 (I) – Another set of good news: it’s not guarded. However, it’s a bit of a hike and a jump puzzle. The flower’s all the way at the top of the tall cliffs. If you want to head there, there’s a path at the opposite end of the mountain. Follow the path on the map you bought from Kurdiv before following it towards the waypoint. The flower should be there.
- Mark 2 (J) – While searching around the large lake, there are several Snapmaws guarding the flower. However, it’s not too hard to get to there. If you hug the cliffs and make your way to the waypoint, you can avoid it. However if you want to farm them, that’s alright too. But when you approach, stay crouched before grabbing the flower. With that, you can go on your merry way.
