Strategy
A huge, hulking mass of machine guns and laser beams, much like its thunderjaw brethren, the Redmaw is a boss in Horizon Zero Dawn. After going on various hunting challenges in the Hunting Grounds, obtaining three Blazing Suns. This prompts you to head to Meridian.
Once there, prove your worth as a hunter by completing hunting quests. Then, you will be prompted to go after two other hunters.
Now, the best way to whittle this guy’s health is to use a lot of blast wire. Note that you can craft blast wire with 8 metal shards, 4 wire and 5 blaze.
Before you enter the arena, head to the relatively narrower entrance and lay down some blast wire. Here, you’ll lure the big guy to take the hit. It usually takes around sixteen tripwires worth to take half of its health down in one shot.
Keep luring him into blast wire until his health whittles. Afterwards, take out its armor with some tear shot and continue to retreat to a safe distance, laying down more blast wire. Once its hide is exposed, use fire arrows to ignite its synthetic muscles.
It should be an easy fight. Enjoy!
