How to Unlock 3D Brawler Mini Game
Becomes accessible after reaching Gold Saucer during the main story.
The 3D Brawler mini game is unlocked upon reaching Gold Saucer during the game’s main story. Note that you must pay Gil (money) as fee for playing the mini game.
3D Brawler Mini Game Overview
Turn-based fighting game that pits you against various opponents one-on-one.
3D Brawler is a turn-based fighting game where you engage in one-on-one battles against various opponents. Defeating a rival allows you to advance to the next stage to battle a stronger fighter than the previous one.
How to Play 3D Brawler
Land hits to fill the ATB and limit gauges.
Landing hits on your opponent fills your ATB gauge, allowing you to perform an action again. Your limit gauge also charges when you connect with your attack.
To win against your opponent, you must land enough hits to fully charge the limit gauge. Afterwards, unleash your limit break move to finish of your rival and claim victory.
Guard against attacks by tilting the left and right analog sticks.
You can make your opponent miss by dodging in the appropriate direction as they wind up their attack. Doing so will expend their ATB gauge, allowing you to answer with an attack of your own.
