In chapter 8, in the Zack interlude in Aerith’s Bedroom, I have a game-breaking bug on PS5. The game won’t let you move the screen so you can’t walk left to get to the door. That kills all further game progress. [Reboot and rebuild didn’t help]
Very Minor Typo:
At end game, the Nibel Region past + present region maps will each have the word “Region” spelled in lowercase.
Graphical alignment:
The text for the “Gold Saucer” sign above the Skywheel cabin entry is noticeably off-center. The wall textures also seem out of alignment.
Hard mode bug in chapter 13
Red dragon will do crimson breath level 3 no matter if you kill his chest or not. This is the only enemy I have found that the assess text directly contradicts the facts of the fight.
It will also instantly use the attack the moment the chest is killed.
It also seems the attack itself is broken as it will do 9999 damage to the entire party and despite being a fire attack fire+elemental materia on armor will not reduce the damage.
Hello, I have a problem in the search for johnny’s collectables, especially with the number 62 “PLAY ARTS Wheelie”, no matter how much I look everywhere in the Corel map, even looking for its location on the internet etc… not found, some players are in the same case as me and it’s annoying, it’s the only thing I miss for the platinum, it’s surely a bug, I hope it will be fixed as soon as possible, thank you
Bug on quest “Can’t Stop Wont Stop,” beat the high score on the G-bike several times and The Shinra Middle Manage won’t acknowledge it which stops me from completing the quest.
Yes same here it’s seem to be happening with some others players too I wish that I could report on square enix site so I hope others report this so they can fix this issue soon.

In the Renowned Party Animal Quest, there’s a persistent bug hindering progression past the G bike segment named “Can’t Stop Won’t Stop.” My initial Personal Best score was 32900 before initiating the quest. Despite surpassing that score with 33400 while the quest is active, I remain unable to advance beyond this point. Despite having bet 32000 five times, the quest refuses to progress. I kindly request assistance in resolving this issue. Also it show that the quest is green not but will not let me move forward with the quest on top of that I have already before starting this quest line bet all of the gold mini games.

In the Corel Region during the Protorelic hunt completed the 2nd challenge but got tired of watching the epilogue scene, so I skipped it. After regaining control the 3rd location did not appear. Is this a bug?
this protorelic quest pauses there until chapter 12
You cant continue that quest until after Chapter 12.
Not really a bug, but a typo: the bio for Skeeskee and Drohdroh states “Evading Fury Bomber will fill pressure it.”
The matcha ice for gathering the mushrooms for the side misssion is broken no matter how I pull it or change it or look at vids it will never work for me and the sit up challenge is broken to the L2 prompt it will not let me hit it to progress just acts like I dident hit it even tho L2 works everywhere els and on my other games side what to do it’s hurting my likening of this game
The chicken catching quest is bugged for me. When I try to get the final one the game crashes. I can tell an enemy is suposed to run out but whenever any part of it appears on screen the game crashes. I assume that either a cutscene or battle trigger isn’t working right?
I beat the anuran suppressor in the shooter mini game from the buggy, but got killed at the same time. On the game over screen I selected retry from start of battle, but instead of sending me to the last checkpoint it sent me to the next cutscene, except the character sprites weren’t rendering, it was just Barrett’s sunglasses floating about and having a conversation. I continued to the end of the chapter and then everything crashed and the game shut down when the trophy popped.
I morphed the mind flayer in chapter 4. And after that I couldn’t do manual saves, call my chocobo or fast travel. Will have to load 2 hours ago to fix it…
I am in the cosmo region and have a really big bug. I did the side quest bonds of trust and this should unlock the ability to ,,fly” with the chocobos on these ramps. Well i cant do that and its really frusttrating 🙁
My bf is playing and I’ve been Googling solutions because he has the exact same bug!
For future people reading this: Press R2. There’s no prompt but it turns out you need to press R2 to glide… Oops 🙂
Anyone have this bug? I cant do the enemy skill missions because the game will not register that my enemy skill Materia is past level 2…but it is. It was also glitched before as in sonic boom was not showing up as an ability and the stats bonuses for leveling up were not there. Upon taking it off and own they showed up but chadley will not acknowledge that its past level 2. I can’t find anything ANYWHERE talking about this or how to fix it.
Anyone have a save file problem? Went to load my file that had 43 hours in today Just past the gold saucer. Only to be greeted in the load screen with a file from 2 days ago and only 17 hours. Sony says they can see all my achievements, saves and hours logged. They told me to reach out to square Enix. They think it’s there’s servers but can’t confirm or deny at this point
Anyone else having a problem with characters freezing before the time runs out when fighting the warlock? Mine keep freezing when there is 6seconds left and then unfreezing with 2 seconds to go.
Quest broken. Protorelic #2 in grasslands. Not sure what happened or what triggered it. All the thugs at the abandoned factory are frozen, entering the area prevents me from doing anything including opening map or pausing, navigating to quest marker location that would advance the quest does nothing. Have tried restarting the game, traveling across the ocean, pretty much everything, but nothing seems to reset this glitched state. Unfortunate, because Junons protorelic questline was interesting. Any help would be appreciated if anyone has come across something like this.
I have the same issue, not found any way to restart it. Don’t know if square has an official bug report form?
seems to be an unintentional bug more irritating than anything else. it was when i was to leave kalm, the cursor on the direction bar stated that kalm was the destination, which confused me as i actually tried to get back in so i checked it out until i hovered over the quest marker on the larger map then it states you have to get away from that area but it still stated destination was kalm itself on the direction tab while playing.
