All Expedition Intel Lifespring List and Locations Guide for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth (FF7 Rebirth)
What is Expedition Intel Lifespring?
Expedition Intel Lifepsrings are sightings or reports about the Lifepsrings that are scattered throughout Midgar. Completing Lifespring expeditions will unlock Classified Intel or Excavation Sites.

Grasslands Region Expedition Intel Lifespring
| Expedition Intel Lifespring | How to Unlock |
|---|---|
| Cragshade Lifespring | Head to the Expedition Intel location and follow the owl until you reach the Lifespring. |
| Wetlands Lifespring | Continue along the path until you reach the dead end, then climb up the slope to find the Lifespring. |
| Morass Lifespring | Head to the swamp and mount a chocobo to cross the swamp. Go to the island that has a staircase, then head upstairs and follow the owl until you find the Lifespring. |
| Grasswastes Lifespring | Can be easily found beside a small tree in an open area. |
| Mako Pipeline Lifespring | Can be found beside a rock in the desert part of the Grasslands. |
| Cavern Lifespring | Can be found inside a cave in the desert part of the Grasslands. Head south from the main road and look for the cave. |
Junon Region Expedition Intel Lifespring

| Chocobluff Lifespring | Requires Mountain Chocobo. Climb up the walls that have arrows point upward, then look for the owl and follow it until you reach the Lifespring. |
| Castaway Lifespring | Head to the Expedition Intel location, then swim directly to the beach and look for a wrecked ship. From there, follow the owl until you reach the Lifespring. |
| Mountain Outpost Lifespring | Head to the top of the mountain and look for the ledges that can be climbed on the southwest part of the mountain. |
| Pharecape Lifespring | Set the Chocobo Stop of the Lighthouse as your starting point, then turn right and use a chocobo to go down the path. Keep following the path until you reach the Lifespring. |
Corel Region Expedition Intel Lifespring

| Secluded Grotto Lifepsring | Look for the owl just along the path of the main road. This can be unlocked during Chapter 7. |
| Gelncross Lifespring | Head to the Expedition Intel Lifespring and climb up the hill nearby. This can be unlocked during Chapter 7. |
| Oasis Lifespring | Can be found in an open area with grass at the lowest part of the mountain. This can be unlocked during Chapter 9. |
| Watermain Lifespring | Can be found inside a narrow area in the water. You can reach the area through the tube near the Corel Desert Waypoint. This can be unlocked during Chapter 9. |
| Stonebowl Lifespring | Look for a cave on the northeast side of Activation Intel 5. |
| Rockspout Lifespring | Can be found in the desert area near the Activation Intel 6. This can be unlocked during Chapter 9. |
Gongaga Region Expedition Intel Lifespring
Note that some of the Lifespring require the use of the Forest Chocobo. Therefore, you must first unlock the Gongaga Region’s chocobo in order to find all the Lifesprings.

| Clearwater Lifespring | Can be found on the south of Izo’s Smithery. |
| Fallbasin Lifespring | Can be found near the waterfall in Gongaga. |
| Valefloor Lifespring | Head to the Activation Intel 3: Verdant Plateau Tower and look for the mushroom on the east. Then, use the Forest Chocobo to jump on the mushroom. |
| Grotto Lifespring | Can be found in a cave in the south of the Gongaga Region. Head to the location from the west and use the Forest Chocobo to jump on the mushroom nearby to find the cave. |
| Holy Ruins Lifespring | Head to Expedition Intel’s location from the north side. Then, swim through the lake until you reach the land with stairs. Climb up the stairs to find the Lifespring. |
| Cavern Lake Lifespring | Head to Expedition Intel’s location from the west side. Swim directly to the water and follow the owl. |
Cosmo Canyon Region Expedition Intel Lifespring
Note that some of the Lifespring require the use of the Sky Chocobo. Therefore, you must first unlock the Cosmo Canyon Region’s chocobo in order to find all the Lifesprings.

| Gulch Lifespring | Can be found on the northeast road of Kamaria’s Ranch. |
| Templeway Lifespring | Can be found on top of a hill. Look for the chocobo ramp on the east, then fly and land on the area with a staircase. Go up the staircase to find the Lifespring. |
| Dawnvale Lifespring | Jump from the northwest side of the Expedition Intel’s location using the Sky Chocobo and land exactly at the Expedition Intel’s location. |
| Blustercave Lifespring | Can be found on a mountain in the south of the Cosmo Canyon Region. Completing the Activation Intel 6 will make it easier to reach the Lifespring’s location, as you can just fast-travel near the Lifespring. |
| Shrouded Ruins Lifespring | Can be found on a mountain on the northeast side of the Cosmo Canyon Region. You can use Gliding Range No. 24 (take a left turn while gliding) or Gliding Range No. 29 (head north while gliding). |
| Plateau Ruins Lifespring | Can be found at the exact location of the Activation Intel 6. Complete the Activation Intel 6 first to gain access to the fast-travel point of the area. |
Nibel Region Expedition Intel Lifespring
Note that some of the Lifespring require the use of the Blue Chocobo (Ocean Chocobo). Therefore, you must first unlock the Cosmo Canyon Region’s chocobo in order to find all the Lifesprings.

| Estuary Bluff Lifespring | Head to the location from the north side. Then, climb the wall that is covered with plants using the Ocean Chocobo. You will then reach a cave, where you can find the Lifespring. |
| Gunnthra Terrace Lifespring | Head to the location from the south side. Then, climb the wall that is covered with plants using the Ocean Chocobo. You will then reach a cave, where you can find the Lifespring. |
| Coastal Lifespring | Head to the location from the northwest side. Then, climb the wall that is covered with plants using the Ocean Chocobo. You will then reach a cave, where you can find the Lifespring. |
| Delta Island Lifespring | Head to the location from the north side. Then, climb the wall that is covered with plants using the Ocean Chocobo. Once you reach the cave, follow the path and use the Ocean Chocobo’s ability whenever there is an obstacle until you get to the Lifesrping. |
Meridian Ocean Region Expedition Intel Lifespring
