Barret and Cloud eventually agree to work together to pursue Sephiroth for the sake of the planet. |

Barret Combat Style Summary
Highly-durable ranged attacker with unique Overcharge ability for fast ATB gain.
Barret fights using arsenal of gun arms that he fire at grounded or airborne enemies at long range. Despite his slow mobility, Barret boasts considerable durability which allow him to tank hits for the party, especially against hard-hitting foes.
Barret’s unique ability is Overcharge which lets him fire a powerful shot that can quickly fill his ATB gauge. Equipping a melee weapon Barret change the attack into a hard-hitting close-range strike, though the effects are generally the same.
