The best way to farm experience (EXP) fast in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is to repeatedly run Combat Assignments (Fiend Sightings) found all across the game’s various regions. These optional World Intel missions pit you against a variety of powerful monster variants that reward a lot of EXP when defeated.

After you clear any Combat Assignment, you can keep running them as many times as you like to grind levels fast. Eventually, you will develop complete familiarity with the behavior of certain enemies, allowing you to take them down easily.

You can also try farming enemies found in each explorable region by defeating them in battle to earn various amounts of EXP. This is also a good way to learn how to fight different types of monsters or to become more skilled in playing as different characters in the game.

Equip EXP Up Materia.
When grinding levels, it is highly recommended to have EXP Up Materia equipped as it grants a 100% increase in EXP gained for each battle. This essentially doubles rate at which you gain levels in the game.

You can get EXP Up materia at the Temple of the Ancients during Chapter 13: Where Angels Fear to Tread. It is found in by the stairs after jumping down the waterfall and rotating the Amber Gear during the main story scenario Into the Labyrinth – One Step Ahead.

You can also lower the game’s difficulty which will not affect how much EXP you receive after battle. Doing so allows you to take down enemies quicker when trying to level up characters fast throughout the main story.
