The main story of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth (FF7 Rebirth) has an average length of about 40 hours, according to game director Naoki Hamaguchi.
In an exclusive interview with Game Informer, Mr. Hamaguchi revealed that players who simply focus on clearing the game’s story chapters will be able to view the ending within the mentioned length.
Will take about 60 to over 100 hours when doing side quests.
Those who intend to do many of the game’s optional side quests, meanwhile, can expect to put in around 60 to as much as 100 hours before the credits roll. These non-mandatory missions essentially represents about 80 percent of the game’s content accessible via exploration.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth adds a massive amount of new features and content that players can sink time into apart from the main story chapters and side quests. These include a multitude of mini games such as G Bike, 3D Brawler, Queen’s Blood, Chocobo Racing, and Moogle Roundup.
Players will gain access to these features upon reaching locations in the game such as Junon and Golden Saucer which have been reimagined in the modernized version of the classic Playstation 1 (PS1) masterpiece.
