How to Fast Travel Guide for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth (FF7 Rebirth)

Can be done from the map screen.
To fast travel in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, open the map by pressing the touchpad button. Then, select any location you have previously visited in the game and press the X button to instantly move to that area.
You can also cycle between fast travel spots on the map screen by pressing ← and → on the directional pad.
Repair Chocobo Stops to unlock more fast travel points.
Aside from major locations such as towns and cities, it is possible to move around the map more easily by fast traveling to and from various Chocobo Stops found all throughout the game world.
Chocobo Stops will initially be unusable when you discover them. You can use Chocobo Stops as fast travel point only after they have been repaired.
Has resting benches to fully recover HP and MP using Cushions.
Chocobo Stops not only serve as useful landmarks you can instantly move but usually also have resting benches for the party to fully-recover HP and MP if you have a Cushion. This essentially allow them to function as outdoor “inns” as you explore areas inhabited by various enemies in the game.
How to Find Chocobo Stops
Follow stray Chocobo chicks.
To find Chocobo Stops, follow stray Chocobo chicks wandering around the map. These curious avians will lead you to Chocobo Stops in need of repairs and will also reward you with Golden Plumes for your labor.
Other Important Fast Travel Mechanics
Fast travel may be temporarily be unavailable for certain locations you have already visited.
Areas you have already been to may become inaccessible for fast travel for story purposes. This is to force you to take alternative routes to get to these locations or to reach them on foot, usually with mandatory story battles on the way.
