What is Weapon Ability?
Every weapon has a unique weapon ability that can be utilized when the weapon is equipped. Repeated use of these abilities or meeting the requirements for the proficiency bonus will increase your proficiency with the weapon ability.
Max out the weapon ability proficiency.
As mentioned before, each weapon in the game possesses a distinct weapon ability. These abilities can be unlocked permanently if you max out their proficiency. Once unlocked, you will be able to equip them with other weapons or weapons that you may get as you progress further in the game.
Use the weapon and its unique ability in battle.
If you have acquired a weapon that has exceptional weapon ability, keep using it in battle to unlock it permanently. By doing this, you will be able to equip the weapon ability to the weapons that you will get later on.
Aim for proficiency bonus.
Meeting the requirements for proficiency bonuses will let you max out the ability’s proficiency faster. This is because of the extra points you will get upon completing the requirements of the proficiency bonus.
