Odd Jobs are mercenary side quests you can pursue while clearing the main story of the game. They can be in the form of searching items, repairing items, or defeating specified enemies. Rewards can be valuable items or unlocks to another Odd Job quest.

In addition, clearing Odd Jobs will give players opportunities to learn more about the citizens of each region they visit within Gaia. Also, strengthening the bonds between Cloud and his allies.
