How to Play Queen’s Blood
Talk to Card Vaulters in various towns and cities to challenge them.
Queen’s Blood players called “Card Vaulters” found in the game’s different locations can be challenged to a match. You can get new cards for your deck by defeating these NPC rivals.
In addition, stronger opponents will begin to appear in towns and cities, allowing you to put your skills to the test even further and claim even better rewards if you beat them.
Queen’s Blood Mini Game Rules
Compete for the power that accumulates in each lane.
Queen’s Blood is a game where you take turns with your opponent to set cards on the board. Each player’s objective is to compete for the power that accumulates in each “lane” horizontally. Cards can be placed on the spaces where pieces of your color are placed.
Take note of card power and base markers.
When you place a card, power is added to that lane and the base expands around the center of the placed card. The number on the top right of the card is it’s power and the base will expand according to the squares (base marker) drawn below the card.
Rank up your base by overlapping your cards.
If you overlap a base square with your own base square, the overlapping base will rank up. As your base is upgraded, you will be able to place cards of higher ranks. The rank of the base is the number of pieces placed on the square and the rank of the card is indicated by the number in the upper left corner.
Capture the opponent’s base.
Placing a card where the base squares expanded by that card overlaps with your opponent’s base lets you capture it. Doing so will cause the base’s rank to be overwritten and the owner of the base will change.
Special abilities are indicated in the red frame of the base marker.
Some cards have special abilities such as increasing power. The square where the special ability will be activated is displayed in a red frame on the base marker. Use special abilities to make your lane’s total power higher than your opponent’s.
Pass if there are no cards to place.
If there are no cards to place on the board, you can pass by pressing the △ button. The game ends when both players pass consecutively.
The scores from the 3 lanes are added together to determine the winner.
At the end of the game, the power totals for each lane are compared. The one with the higher total value gets the score for that lane. The power of the losing lane does not count towards your score. The scores of the three lanes are added together, and the player with the highest score wins.
