Stats and Attributes Guide for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth (FF7 Rebirth)
Below are all character stats and attributes in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth (FF7 Rebirth), including details on what each parameter affects, how to increase stats, and how to view all party member’s current attributes from the game’s main menu.
Combat Attributes
| Attribute | Description |
|---|---|
| HP | Value that determines current maximum health pool. The character is knocked out when HP is reduced to 0. |
| MP | Value that determines current maximum magic pool. The character cannot cast spells when MP is reduced to 0. |
| Attack Power | Value that determines physical damage dealt with blades, guns, fists, and claw. Modified by weapon and strength values. |
| Magic Attack Power | Value that determines magic damage dealt with spells and abilities. Modified by weapon and magic values. |
| Defense | Value that determines physical damage resisted. Modified by armor and vitality values. |
| Magic Defense | Value that determine magic damage resisted. Modified by armor and spirit values. |
Primary Attributes

| Strength | The higher the value, the stronger your attack power. |
| Magic | The higher the value, the stronger your magic attack power. |
| Vitality | The higher the value, the stronger your defense. |
| Spirit | The higher the value, the stronger your magic defense. |
| Luck | The higher the value, the better your chances of dealing a critical hit or successfully stealing from enemies. |
| Speed | The higher the value, the faster your ATB gauge charges. |
Other Attributes

| Critical Hit Rate | The chance of dealing a critical hit. |
| Critical Hit Damage | The damage increase when dealing a critical hit. |
| ATB Charge Bonus | Increases ATB gauge accumulation when performing basic attacks and other actions. |
| Max Limit Level | The highest available limit break level. |
How to Increase Stats and Attributes
Below are the ways to raise a character’s various stats and attributer, either permanently or temporarily, throughout the game.
Level up.
A character’s various stats and attributes will increase whenever they level up. If you are having a hard time defeating regular enemies and bosses, try grinding EXP against foes that are easier to take down until you gain enough levels to overcome tough encounters.
Buy or upgrade gear.
Equipping stronger weapons increases your physical and magic attack power in addition to granting you access to new weapon abilities in the game. Be sure to check shops in new areas you visit to purchase new armaments or upgrade current ones you own to improve a character’s offensive potential in battle.
Wearing better armor grants you increased physical and magic defense, allowing a character to withstand more damage when hit by enemies. Accessories, meanwhile, provide a variety of useful passive effects which range from directly increasing various attributes to granting resistances against various damage types, spells, and status ailments.
Equip complete and summon materia.
Equipping complete materia is similar to equipping accessories as both can give character increased stats such as higher max HP and MP, physical and magic attack power, and even ATB charge rate.
You can also slot in summon materia which apply a fixed set of stat bonuses to a character in addition to allowing you to invoke powerful creatures called Summons in battle.
Use magic to cast temporary buffs.
Using magic materia such as Empowerment and Barrier temporarily applies boosts to allies’ physical and magic attack and defense. Gaining as many buffs as you can is especially important during boss battles and other tough encounters as you will want to be able to deal the most damage on enemies while minimizing those taken by your party as much as possible.

How to View Stats and Attributes
Can be done from the game’s main menu under Party.
To view each party member’s current stats and attributes, press the OPTIONS button and go to Party. Doing so lets you view all characters’ current stats and attributes, taking into account their level and gear currently equipped.
