What are Battle Arenas?
Battle Arenas are optional locations in Hogwarts Legacy that allows you to battle waves of enemies to earn experience (XP) and various cosmetic items as rewards. There are two (2) Battle Arenas in the base game while a third can be accessed by purchasing The Dark Arts Battle Arena DLC.
To enter a Battle Arena, destroy the vases found near an arena’s entrance using basic attack spells. Once you have broken all the vases, the Battle Arena will become accessible.

Below are all trophies and achievements related to Battle Arenas and how to unlock them during the game’s main story.

Note that you only need to defeat enemies in the two Battle Arenas found in the base game to earn the Rise to the Challenges achievement. Clearing the third Battle Arena (DLC) is not required.

Battle Arena Tips
Useful for grinding XP to level up fast.
Battle Arenas are among the best ways to gain levels fast as you can attempt them as many times as you can (even after clearing the game’s main story). For an easier time farming XP, you can lower the game difficulty to Story which lets you take down enemies faster.

Great area to train against various types of enemies.
You can also practice dodging the attacks of different enemies that appear in the Battle Arenas. The area is also a good place to experiment with aerial combos to help you chain as many hits on foes as possible.
