Ways to Level Up
Clear Quests.
The primary way to earn experience (XP) and level up is to do main story quests and side quests. Simply going through the main story will allow you to gain a decent amount of levels, though you will want to clear optional missions by talking to various non-player characters (NPCs) such as students and professors to earn XP fast.
Complete Challenges.
As you progress through the game and explore different locations, you will discover different Challenges that you can do to earn XP as well. There are 5 types of Challenges found in the game based on their objectives which are listed below.
- Combat Challenges
- Quests Challenges
- Exploration Challenges
- Field Guide Pages Challenges
- Room of Requirement Challenges
You can access the Challenges menu from the Wizard’s Field Guide.
Tips for Leveling Up Fast
Grind Quests and Challenges as often as possible.
Keep completing every quest that you find along the way as you play the game. Note that it does not matter whether you do main story quests or side quests because all of them give you fair amounts of XP. There are also a multitude of Challenges that are unlocked as you go further in the game’s campaign so try to spend time clearing them whenever you can to earn XP fast.
Clear Duelling Feats.
Duelling Feats are optional objectives that appear on the lower right side of the screen during battle. Achieving a Duelling Feat earns you bonus XP, making them a great way to grind levels throughout the game.
Entering any of the two Battle Arenas is a good way to quickly earn XP through Duelling Feats. You will also earn special cosmetic items based in your performance through all enemy waves in each arena.
Benefits of Leveling Up
Upgrade your Talents.
By leveling up, you will gain Talent Points. This resource is used to upgrade various Talents that affect spell damage and effects, effectiveness of crafted potions, how well you can grow and harness plants, and other things in the game. Try to decide which Talents to upgrade that fits your playstyle, favorite spells to use, or activities you plan to spend a lot of time in to make the game more fun.
