Can You Become a Dark Wizard in Hogwarts Legacy?
In Hogwarts Legacy, it is heavily hinted that an optional story route to become a Dark Wizard (or something similar to it) will be featured in the game’s main story.

Based on various game trailers and story previews released, it would seem that delving into the Dark Arts and eventually becoming a Dark Wizard may become possible through progressing through a particular relationship line with one of the game’s major characters.
Sebastian Sallow, a student of Hogwarts’ Slytherin House, is among the named companion characters that you can befriend throughout the main story. As revealed from various official material, Sebastian has a twin sister named Anne who is suffering from a dreadful illness after being cursed by the goblin Ranrok. Sebastian soon comes to the conclusion that learning the Dark Arts is the only way to save his sibling.
A Sallow Grave Achievement
One of the game’s achievements, A Sallow Grave, can only be unlocked after you complete Sebastian Sallow’s relationship line. This means that you may have to align yourself with Sebastian and help him with his personal mission which may include the use of Dark Arts and other methods frowned upon by the school.

Dark Arts Battle Arena
Further supporting the likelihood of the Dark Wizard being an optional story route for your character is the announcement of the Dark Arts Battle Arena DLC. Upon purchasing the add-on, you will be able to access a new area called the Dark Arts Battle Arena which lets you take on wave of enemies using various Unforgivable Curses like Avada Kedavra, Imperio, and Crucio.
Note that the Dark Arts Battle Arena DLC is also among the bonuses included in the Hogwarts Legacy Collector’s Edition and Deluxe Edition.
