In the Shadow of the Study Side Quest Walkthrough
| 1 | Use the Floo Flame to fast travel to the Slytherin common room and meet up with Sebastian. |
|---|---|
| 2 | After talking to Sebastian, follow him to meet Ominis and speak with him. |
| 3 | Examine the Slytherin’s door and call Sebastian to open up the door. |
| 4 | As you enter the door, you can inspect and use Revelio to reveal some details inside. |
| 5 | You need to collect all 5 Noctua Gaunt’s Note and you also need to know how to proceed further. |
| 6 | Use Reparo on the rocks on the ground and on the broken wall design, and then speak with Ominis regarding the voice. |
| 7 | As you enter, you can use Incendio to light the torches so you can see more clearly in the dark. You need to explore and inspect around the area. |
| 8 | Every time there is a locked gate, you need to interact with the Slytherin Lock and match the symbols that corresponds on each gate to open it up. |
| 9 | Once you have reached the door that requires to cast Crucio, you either wait for Sebastian to talk to Ominis or you can talk to Ominis about Crucio. |
| 10 | You need to pick the option “I want to learn the Cruciatus Curse. But you must cast it on me” (second choice). *Note that picking a different response will make you miss out on the learning Crucio for the duration of the playthrough so be careful. |
| 11 | Keep moving into the Slytherin’s Scriptorium and search around the area, you can use Revelio to help you around for clues. |
| 12 | Give the book to Sebastian and continue to explore the room. There is a way out which is the rock statues. |
| 13 | Once you are out of the Scriptorium, Ominis has something to say and listen to their conversation. This completes this side quest. |
