New Main Story Quests (After Defeating the Final Boss)
Weasley’s Watchful Eye and The House Cup Post-Game Quests
Two new main story quests are unlocked after you complete the final battle in The Final Repository. These post-game missions are really short and simply lead up to the game’s secret True Ending.
Hogwarts Legacy How to Get the True Ending
Note that you can view the True Ending regardless of the dialogue choices you made with Professor Fig during The Final Repository quest. You will still be able to watch the secret ending if you picked either the “good” or “bad” ending.

Free Roam
Aim for 100% Completion (Platinum Trophy).
Once you have beaten the game’s final boss, you will gain access to free roam which lets you revisit all discovered locations at your leisure. From here, it is recommended to try unlocking any remaining achievements to get 100% completion (Platinum trophy).
Hogwarts Legacy Trophies and Achievements List
While in free roam, you can spend your time clearing unresolved side quests and Challenges, finding missed trinkets and collectibles, and progressing through Relationship Line arcs with other Companion characters after completing the main story of Hogwarts Legacy. It is also recommended to grind experience (XP) at the different Battle Arenas to reach the maximum level for your character.
No New Game Plus (NG+)
There is no New Game Plus (NG+) or similar feature unlocked for clearing the main story campaign. This means that the only way to replay the game is to create another character on an available character slot.
Replay the main story to get all Map Chamber achievements.
The Map Chamber trophies are a set of achievements that can only be obtained if you create four different characters belonging to different houses. The reason for this is that there is a unique Map Chamber trophy for finding the Map Chamber as a student of Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff House.
Achievement | Trophy | How to Unlock |
---|---|---|
The Gryffindor in the Graveyard | Bronze | Find the Map Chamber as a Gryffindor. |
The Toast of the Town | Bronze | Find the Map Chamber as a Slytherin. |
The Wise Owl | Bronze | Find the Map Chamber as a Ravenclaw. |
The Auror’s Apprentice | Bronze | Find the Map Chamber as a Hufflepuff. |
The different Map Chamber achievements so far are the only reason to play through the game at least four times using different characters to achieve 100% completion.
No New Side Quests
There are no additional post-game side quests in Hogwarts Legacy. Instead, focus on completing any optional content that you have not done yet to achieve 100% completion.
