As the name implies, the Shell-Walker is an arachnid or hermit crab-looking machine. It puts a premium on keeping its cargo intact, thus it summons a force field and dishes out long-range Shocks to keep any threats at bay who try to close in from the front. Sneak behind it and shoot at the back for a chance to loot its cargo or destroy the components that are weak to Tearblast arrows before you launch a killing blow.

Strategy
Avoid facing the Shell-Walker head-on as these sluggish arachnid machines won’t hesitate to show any mercy upon close quarter encounters.
Best to take them from behind as the means to retaliate will be retarded with their need to turn around. Although not necessary, taking out its Cargo Container provides additional resources to pick up. The best way to handle the Shell-Walker is to target the two components weak to Tearblast shots. To start, aim closely for its Lightning Gun with a precise tearblast shot. Follow up with another Tearblast projectile to the Shield Claw, then finish it off with either a well-placed shot to the belly below or to its oculars to deal even more damage.
