Objective 2: Find the Master Override

Enter the facility door and follow the waypoint to the left. Sylens warns you to mind your footing – this is because ahead of you is a long drop. Jump across to the ledge, drop one level down, then again to the ground below. Enter the tunnel and exit on the door on the right, leading you back outside. Creep onto the ledge ahead and rappel down.

When you reach the ground, go into the path with the little blue light. Jump onto the rope at the end of the path, slide down and drop onto the handhold below. Shimmy across, then vault onto the handholds to your left. Go up using the handholds into the flat area ahead, and into the area marked by the waypoint.

Enter the elevator shaft, climbing up using the handholds on the sides. Enter the wide, windy corridor, turn right, then left at the next entryway. Follow the waypoint upstairs, where Aloy will find Elisabet Sobeck’s room and her journals.

Go to the corner of the room indicated by the waypoint, climb up the narrow passage, then into the hole in the wall. You will end up in another room – a shrine to Sobeck.

As you are examining the shrine, Sylens will appear in front of you. Head up the stairs, then follow the waypoint through several corridors going to the outside. You will end up at a vast hole with walkways along the walls. Go on up until you reach a door. When Aloy goes through, she sees several corpses in the chairs and on the floor.

Examine the control panel to play a hologram of what happened with the persons in the room. Sylens will appear again. After talking to him, you can finally take the Master Override from the opposite side of the round table.

Exit the room, and follow the waypoint back outside on the way to Sylens’ workshop. You’ll arrive at a huge gap with a zipline connecting the two sides. When you get to the other side, find the small cave nearby, which houses a power cell.

Following the waypoint, climb the rock face all the way up to the workshop. Meet up with Sylens there, talk to him a bit, then he gives you his lance. Attach the Master Override to the lance to complete the mission.
