How to raise the research level?
Work on your course to boost your research level. The research level determines the chance of finding special actions. At higher levels, you’ll encounter unique actions from the Pokemon you’ll stumble upon in your adventure.
What happens when you reach higher levels?
Attaining higher research levels unlocks new Pokemon expressions and behaviors when you encounter them in the wild. Head to expeditions to level up your research progress and you’ll eventually capture those rare moments during your adventure. So far, effects can range from finding more species of the Pokemon in certain areas, to being up close and personal with one of the few elusive mythical Pokemon on your next expedition.
