Character Creation Guide in Starfield

Once you start a new game in Starfield, one of the most important thing that all players needs to go through is to create your in-game character. This guide will discuss the details of character customization in the new game and the different options that you can choose from.

Biometric ID

The first customization option for your character is the Biometric ID which is preset that you can choose from over forty (40) variants and it can also be changed later by visiting a genetics facility.

Body

After picking a preset, the next one would be your Body and Face, there are a total of three (3) different physical builds which ranges from thin, muscular, and heavy. You can also choose a type of Walk and Skin Tone.

Face

There are a lot of features in your Face that you can fully customize and choose from, below is the list of all Face customizations:

  • Head Shapes
  • Hair
  • Hair Color
  • Facial Hair
  • Eyes
  • Eye Color
  • Eyebrows
  • Eyebrow Color
  • Forehead
  • Nose
  • Ears

  • Jewelry Color
  • Dermaesthethic
  • Complexion Color Temp

Background

The Background for your character is the trait you prefer to play with and it comes with three (3) starting skills that can be used in the actual gameplay.

Traits

The last thing that you can customize for your character is their Traits, you can only choose three (3) optional traits.

Changing your Character

After getting into the game and finishing up the tutorial, you can change the appearance for your character by going through a genetics facility.
