To move the raft, use an item called a Korok Leaf to create wind that will move the raft.
How to Get a Korok Leaf
You can occasionally get a Korok Leaf by chopping down trees. The item can also sometimes be found on the field.
Raft Tricks and Tips
Manipulate metal with the Magnesis rune.
You can manipulate metal items such as weapons and treasure chests with the Magnesis rune and push them towards the raft sails to move the raft.
Using minecarts.
Use Magnesis to bring the minecart to where the raft is.
If you operate the minecart to go through the sail, the minecart and raft will combine.
By pushing the mine cart with Magnesis, the raft also moves in conjunction, making it possible to move using the raft even on the ground.
