Some monsters can only be fought once.

In the previous game The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, defeating Curse Ganon, Calamity Ganon, and Master Kohga once will cause them to no longer appear.

Because of this, do not forget to take a photo of various monsters with the Camera ability if you intend to do so.

Obtaining Specific Equipment

In Breath of the Wild, there were some equipment (such as Lynel gear) that could not be obtained more than once.

You do not have to worry about this if you simply want to play and finish the main story. You only need to watch out for specific equipment if you intend to find all collectibles.

Can you reroll equipment abilities?

In Breath of the Wild, it was possible to reroll the abilities of the Hyrule Shield dropped throughout the game.

Since there was only one chance to get the Hyrule Shield, it was important to reroll as you will not get a chance to do so afterwards.

A similar mechanic may exist in Tears of Kingdom where you have only chance to reroll the abilities of certain equipment.

  1. What/who is Utsushie and Bullpera? I haven’t seen or heard of either of these in Zelda. Did I miss something?
