This combination extends the range of your one-handed weapon. This allows you to strike enemies from a safe distance while also having a weapon with decent attack power and a long reach.

By fusing two spears, you can create a weapon with an extremely long range. Because of its long range, this weapon is ideal for one-on-one situations. You can defeat an enemy from a safe distance while avoiding being hit.

Shield + Flame Emitter
Shields can be fused with Zonai devices, such as the Flame Emitter, a Zonai device that shoots fire. This combination will create a shield that shoots fire in the direction you are facing.

How to Use Fuse
Activate Fuse by using the L Button
L button activates Fuse, and if weapons, shields, bows, and materials are nearby, Y button attaches them to the weapon, and ZL button attaches them to the shield.
When you want to fuse your weapon, take it out of the pouch
If you want to fuse your weapon with another, remove the one you want to attach from the pouch.
Experiment with different combinations freely
You can experiment with different combinations at your leisure. Choose and try various materials, Zonai devices, and weapons to fuse with each other. Depending on the combinations, special effects may be added to your equipment, such as explosives and an increase in weapon stats.
Please note that some combinations, specifically those related to explosives, may hurt Link as well.
Notes on Fuse ability
Fuse materials disappear when removed
The materials for fusing can be removed from the menu at any time.
However, if you remove the fuse material, it will disappear permanently.
Equipment that has already been fused cannot be fused again
Equipment that has been fused cannot be fused again.
