Uses of Ores
Sell to merchants for rupees.
Ores are expensive.
Ores can be sold at a relatively higher price than any other material so it is recommended to use a means of farming money (rupees) in the early stages of the game.
Ores can be obtained by breaking ore deposits.
Deposits can be easily destroyed with weapons that have rocks fused to them with the Fuse ability.

Most ores sell for less now compared to the previous game. Only Diamond retained its original selling price.
Use as an upgrade material for armor.
Armor can be upgraded after you release the Great Fairy.
You will need ores to upgrade your armor.
Armor can be enhanced up to 4 times.
There are many armor pieces that require ore materials for upgrading armor from the third stage onwards.
The number of ores required for upgrading armor will increase as you approach the final enhancement stages.
Weaponize with Fuse
If you place the ores on the ground from your pouch, you can attach it to a weapon using Fuse.
The effects gained by the weapon changes depending on the type of ore you use.
For example, attaching a Ruby to a weapon will allow it to shoot fireballs.
Attaching an Opal to a weapon, meanwhile, lets it fire water bullets.
How to Get Ores
Farm ores by defeating Stone Pebblits and Stone Talus.
Rare ores can be obtained by defeating Stone Pebblits and Stone Talus that appear in various parts of the game world.
You can get a large amount of ore by defeating Stone Talus so try to take it down as soon as you see them.
It is recommended to defeat both Stone Pebblits and Stone Talus with bombs.
Money Farming Methods in Previous Games
Farming Farosh’s Horn
In the previous game The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, farming and selling Farosh’s Horn was the best money farming method.
It was possible to earn a large amount of rupees in a short time this way because it was easy to farm the item and the selling price was high.
How to Farm Farosh’s Horn

| 1 | Unlock Shoda Sah Shrine and enable fast travel. |
| 2 | Wear Zora’s Armor and climb the nearby waterfall. |
| 3 | Build a bonfire under a nearby tree. |
| 4 | Make Farosh appear by letting time pass until morning at the campfire. |
| 5 | Ride a nearby updraft and destroy Farosh’s horn with a bow. |
| 6 | Return to the campfire and wait until morning again. Then, destroy Frodora’s horn again. |
| 7 | Collect Farosh’s Horn after damaging it to a certain extent. |
| 8 | Sell all collected Farosh’s Horns in bulk. Farosh’s Horns can be sold for 300 rupees each. |
Snowball Bowling
You can play a mini-game called Snowball Bowling at Pondo’s Lodge which is located east of Hebra Tower.
By bowling using the so-called snowballs, you can get 300 rupees for strikes and 100 rupees for spares.
It costs 20 rupees to play, but you can earn a lot if you can get lots of strikes or spares.
Have Cold Resistance.
Since Pondo’s Lodge is located in the snowy mountains, it is necessary to activate Cold Resistance Level 2.
Equip the Rito series armor sets or eat the Spicy Skewered Mushroom dish to prepare for the cold weather before taking on the challenge.
