Getting a Horse

Slowly Approach

If you spot on a wild horse in an open field, slowly and quietly approach it without being noticed. Shortly after getting near the horse, press on A to jump onto the wild horse and to tame it.

Befriending the horse

Immediately after riding onto the wild horse, it will rampage as it is not used to ride people. Therefore, press and hit the L button repeatedly to calm the horse down. If it has calmed down for a while, the horse will gradually follow you and you will be able to control and move with it.

Check Stable availability

Each horse has different stats and abilities, the only way you can check the status of the horse is at the Stable, so it is recommended to move it to the stable once you catch it. You also need to unlock the Stables from each location and below is our list of All Horse Stable Locations:

Horse Guide

Horse Riding

Horses can be used as a means of transportation by taming wild horses on the field.

Riding a horse can not only increases your movement speed, but it also moves along the field to some extent even if you don’t control it, so you can move while looking around.

Name can’t be changed

Another thing about keeping a horse is you can name your horse when you register it at the stable.

Please note that the name given at that one time cannot be changed later.

Cavalry attacks

Attacking with weapons and bows are possible even while riding a horse.

If you hold up your bow immediately after jumping down, the area around you will slow down, so remember this as a technique when attacking.

You can also deal damage by ramming enemies on horseback.

Maintain good health

Horses also have lives and health, and if they are attacked or hit by an enemy, their health will decrease.

Reviving Horses

Dead horses can be revived at Marlon’s Fountain which is located near the Stable on the Plateau.
