New Abilities

 

Recall

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom - Recall

Link’s Recall ability allows him to rewind time and so reverse the movement of an object. Link may use this power to fly from the earth to one of the islands above Hyrule, which is its main use.

Link may use Recall to summon an object that has fallen from the sky back up to the sky by standing atop it. The closest sky island should be reachable by jumping from there and using Link’s paraglider.

Fuse

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom - Fuse

Fuse, as the name implies, is an ability that grants Link the capacity to fuse two separate objects together to create a completely new item. Link may combine a tree branch with a rock to construct a hammer that is far more durable than a typical branch.

Link was also seen tying a pitchfork to a stick to make a long-range weapon and attaching a White Chuchu Jelly to an arrow to freeze an adversary from a distance, among other things, during the gameplay presentation. The durability system from Breath of the Wild is ultimately given a novel twist in Fuse by enabling players to continuously manufacture new and distinctive weapons.

Ultrahand

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom - Ultrahand

Ultrahand, like Fuse, allows Link to connect disparate things. The major purpose of Ultrahand, however, is to allow Link to put things together to form constructions by rotating them, stacking them on top of one other, and detaching and moving them as needed.

Link can construct a raft out of three pieces of wood and two fans. Using Ultrahand will also let players to create new types of cars and flying things to assist them navigate Hyrule.

Ascend

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom - Ascend

Ascend enables Link to ascend above the ground and teleport through any ceiling above him. It should be noted that technique may be utilized to carry Link to a mountaintop inside caverns. Players ought to find it simpler to reach high points as a consequence, especially since Link won’t have to expend all of his vitality on the ascent.

Changed Features

The game is set in the same manner as its predecessor, Breath of the Wild, hence most of the terrain maps remain the same.

However, the shrines and towers from the previous game have vanished.
