Tulin of Rito Village Walkthrough Summary
- Talk to Tulin in Rito Village.
- Talk to Harth in the hut at the trailhead of Hebra Mountains north of Rito Village.
- Go northeast from the hut at the trailhead of Hebra Mountains to the cave on the south side.
- Talk to Gizan in the middle of the cave on Mount Hebra.
- Talk to Tulin at the lone cedar tree on the mountain.
- Retrieve Tulin’s bow stolen by a flying enemy.
- Work with Tulin to defeat all the monsters.
- Search the clouds with Tulin.
- Clear the Wind Temple.
Talk to Tulin in Rito Village.
When you approach Tulin in Rito Village, an event will occur and the main quest Tulin of Rito Village will begin.
Talk to Harth in the hut at the trailhead of Hebra Mountains north of Rito Village.
Talk to Harth at the hut along the trailhead of Hebra Mountains north of Rito Village to find out where Tulin and the others are going.
Create a gust of wind with Bonfire + Flint + Hylian Pine Cone to let you fly up with the Paraglider.
Go northeast from the hut at the trailhead of Hebra Mountains to the cave on the south side.
The Hebra Mountain South Summit Cave is located northeast of the Hebra Mountain trailhead hut. It is marked by a bonfire once you climb the mountain path past the front cliff of the Hebra Mountain Trailhead hut.
Talk to Gizan in the middle of the cave on Mount Hebra.
If you talk to Gizan in the middle of the cave on Hebra Mountain South Summit Cave, you will find out that Tulin is near the lone cedar tree of the mountain.
Talk to Tulin at the lone cedar tree on the mountain.
Tulin is found at the lone cedar tree near the summit of the mountain to the northeast (from the yellow icon on the map marking the place where Gizan is in the middle of the cave on Mt. Hebra).
Retrieve Tulin’s bow that was stolen by a flying enemy.
You can retrieve the bow by catching the flying enemy with the help of Tulin’s gust of wind.
You can also shoot the enemy down with arrows.
Search the clouds with Tulin.
Once the battle against the monster is over, search the clouds with Tulin.
If you want to move sideways a lot, it would be a good idea to have Tulin generate some wind.
Use Ascend to move vertically.
If you want to move sideways, use Tulin’s wind. If you want to go over pillars, use Ascend.
If you cannot use Ascend, stack nearby boxes and use Ascend on top of them.
You will need Cold Guard Lv. 2 in the area.
When you get close to the clouds, you will not be able to withstand the cold with just a Lv. 1 cold resistance effect.
You will not be able to endure the cold with only simple winter clothes, so be sure to eat spicy food to raise your cold resistance effect to Lv. 2.
Clear the Wind Temple.
Examine the ○ next to Tulin.
If you examine the ○ next to Tulin (the one at the bottom of the shrine), a warp point will appear and you can talk to Tulin.
The First Key
There is a lever handle on the right side of the area to the north, so attach a nearby icicle and use it as a lever.
Then, activate the key by applying some wind from Tulin to the device inside.
The Second Key
Ride the updraft in the center to the northern plateau.
Open the floor door with Ultrahand and go forward to find the second key.
The Third Key
There is an entrance blocked by icicles next to the ship on the southeast side of the Wind Temple.
Move forward with Recall and fit the icicles to connect the gears.
The Fourth Key
Enter from the side of the ship on the northwest side of the Wind Temple.
Then, proceed to the south side and go down the hole to reach the B2 floor. There is another key you can activate here.
The Fifth Key
Do not go through the hole you went down to activate the fourth key. Instead, use Tulin’s wind to proceed. Go upstairs with Ascend above the area where the Construct is.
Attach 2 pieces of rubble to the hanging stick and turn it to open the door momentarily.
When you open it, use Recall on the gear. Then, go ahead through the door to find the last key.
A boss battle begins when you activate the device.
Return to the central area and examine the ○ device to fight the boss Colgera.
- Dodge the thorns on the boss’ back and destroy the exposed parts by diving (R button)
- When you fall down, go up again with the air current.
- If you destroy 3 segments of Colgera, a tornado will occur. If you destroy 3 segments again, the boss will be defeated.
- Use Tulin’s wind to evade attacks.
